Welcome to Port Discovery Children’s Museum, ranked among the top 15 children’s museums in the United States by Parents Magazine!

Port Discovery offers three floors of interactive, educational exhibits and ever-changing programs for children ages birth through 10. Toddle and crawl through Tot Trails. Historic Ships

Historic Ships in Baltimore represent one of the most impressive collections of military vessels in the world. 

Located within easy walking distance of each other, the US Sloop of War Constellation, the US Submarine Torsk, the US Coast Guard Cutter Taney, and the Lightship Chesapeake exhibit life at sea from the mid-19th century to the mid-1980's. 

Also included in the collection is the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse.

Maryland Science Center

The Maryland Academy of Sciences is Maryland’s oldest scientific institution and one of the oldest such institutions in the entire nation.

At its inception in 1797, the Academy was an amateur scientific society—members met to discuss papers on astronomy, botany, zoology, and other subjects then known as the “natural sciences.”
